The Long View

No building over the Easter Holidays but here we have the long view.  You can see the concrete walls of the house next door to the almost finished Solflekken on the top street.

Concrete

By the next week, concrete walls had appeared.

It was all very mysterious.  We were never there while anyone was working.

Groundbreaking

One day, things started happening.  We went up to the tomt and found this large hole where the trees had been.
We stared, realizing that we will one day live in this hole.

And then we waited through the long winter...

The Cut-Down

We chose the lot because we liked the trees and the view.  Then we realized that we had to cut down the trees.  Luckily Hans and Robert knew what they were doing.  Klaus and Kjetil showed up to help us move all the logs. 

Once there was a lot for sale

We wanted a house but couldn't really find anything we liked.  Iulia and Luis bought a tomt (lot) at the top of the hill.  We took a look at their lot and bought the one next door.
