The house is done!

The house on the hill is almost finished.  Here is the downstairs (boys´) bathroom - a tribute to petroleum in all sorts of ways.

We have a staircase!!!

Like the boy himself, Terry´s room is a spot of color.

It has been shamefully long since I have updated this blog.  Here are some pictures of the house as it stands today.

It is a little hard to photograph inside because of the dark but here are some pictures.  The living room.

Light in August

House-building has gone slowly this summer.  There have been summer vacations and the concrete man who was supposed to do the chimney stopped taking phone calls.  Still, some progress has been made.

But the view from the back is a little different.  The carpenter promises to have the outside done by the weekend.  We will post more pictures then!

Windows!

There have been more changes to the house on the hill.  Most of the windows are in place.

The balcony is under construction.

And some siding is going up on the Iulia and Lluis side of the house.

Keeping Out the Rain

The roof is now 'tight' and awaiting the tiles.  The windows have arrived and we be placed in the walls soon.

I guess it is time to think seriously about what to put on the floor.

 Big changes are happening at the lot.
